Why a challenge?

We receive hundreds of applications from candidates with polished CVs. Therefore we removed our contact info. The challenge cuts through noise and shows who can apply knowledge under pressure. It also reflects our values: creativity, integrity, and operational rigor.

High-level overview

Apply: Submit your CV and details to receive access to the challenge link.
Sandboxed challenge: Complete the task inside a secure, isolated environment or provided puzzle files. No live systems are targeted.
Prove your process: Provide a clear write-up (and where relevant, reproducible scripts or a short walk-through video).
Verification: Our team reviews submissions. Accepted candidates receive next steps and our HR contact via direct email.

Rules & commitments (non-negotiable)

Authorized scope only: Use only the provided sandbox. Attempts on production infrastructure will disqualify you and may be reported.
Responsible disclosure: If you find an unintended issue in the challenge, report it through the disclosure channel immediately.
Honesty: Submissions must be your own work; collaboration/cross-entry rules will be explicit per challenge.
Privacy: Data in the sandbox is mock/test data — do not attempt to extract or reuse it beyond the exercise.

Verification & HR contact

Responsible disclosure

FAQ

Can I attempt to break other Renngang systems?: No. Only interact with the provided sandbox. Unauthorized activity will lead to disqualification and possible legal action.
What if I find a vulnerability in the sandbox?: Report immediately through the responsible disclosure channel. Don’t exploit it.
How long is the challenge valid?: Each challenge window is time-boxed and will be stated up-front on the application page.
